It happens in life. Not always, but it happens. That's a fate like that of Saidulla Kozhabaev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "KTZ", as he and Kentau Transformer Plant are celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2009. That's a sign of fate.

Today it is difficult to imagine the difficult situation this company was in only twelve years ago when the administration of the plant was headed by a new team with Saidulla Kozhabaev at the top. It was his experience in manufacturing and financial activities that helped him to quickly rectify the situation and return the plant out of bankruptcy.

From the earliest days Saidulla Ilyasovich set the task - the plant will not only survive, it will evolve. This idea was carried away by the whole team. Yves history of the plant began a new era. There have been dramatic changes in work organization and marketing in the development of the new demand of electrical products Kazakh production. Cooperation has been established with national companies "KazTransOil", "Kazakhoil", "Intergas", "Kazakhstan Temir Joly." There were current assets, which were forwarded to the introduction of innovative technologies and complete replacement of equipment, machine tools from far and near abroad. Moreover, modernization has affected all production units, increasing production, improving processes, raising the output per worker.

In November 2005, Kentau Transformer Plant was visited by the Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev who praised the work of the team, noting the role of the plant in import substitution, strengthening the electrical engineering industry. And for his personal contribution to the development of the domestic industry Saidulla Kozhabaev was awarded a high state award - the Order "Kurmet."

In 2007 he headed the plant could one of the first CIS countries to establish its own production of dry-type transformers with cast resin to 10 kVA. It was completed a new building in 7000 m for the first issue of power transformers for 35 kV up to 25 000 kVA with improved performance and lower vesogabaritami. In Turkistan built the first plant in the republic of power transformers of 110 kV class.

All in all, the following businesses have been successfully run since their startup:
- Design Institute JSC «Alageum Engineering»;
- Electrical administration JSC «Alageum Electric», with a strong network of branches in all regional centers;
- Metal factory in Shymkent;
- The plant power transformers up to 35 kV in Kentau;
- Reinforced concrete factory in Turkestan;
- The plant cabinet designs in Atyrau.

Thus, the strategic production of transformers has now completely ended the cycle created by the structural units in different Regina republic. Today the company is also a reliable social partner, creating jobs, participating in planning projects.

And here, of course, it should be noted that personal contribution to the development of the national electrical engineering that made Saidulla Ilyasovich, seeking to bring an entire industry on the world leading position.
