The grand opening of exhibition of Bakhargul Tolegenkyzy, the collector of national jewellery, has been held with support of Ministry of culture and information, akimat of Almaty city and Worldwide Kazakh Association.  Today, the patron of national art Bakhargul Tolegenkyzy introduced to everyone’s attention the ancient relics and series of souvenir workpieces, which she has been collecting for 15 years and keeping as the apple of her eye. This exhibition has been organized by “Ademi-Ai Plus” company and republican ethnographic cultural-informational magazine “Ademi-Ai”. The goal of introducing of the exhibition to people is promotion of beauty and peculiarity of Kazakh national art.

Bakhargul Tolegenkyzy, whose hobby is collecting, introduced kazakh pearl – diamond jewellery to people. She was born in Chinese town Shaushek in 1965. after high school graduation she entered Beijin University and graduated from Biology department.  Intended to continue education she came to Kazakhsatn in 1994-1997 and making research in biology. During her thesis she got interested in applied art and went in for collecting ancient relics.  Collecting turned out to be a hobby. As a result of her interest to national art masterpieces she organized JSC “Ademi-Ai plus” and in 2002  - the house of art “Ademi”.

So, a girl, who knows the value of ancient relics, not only collected them but started manufacturing souvenirs on patent base. These souvenirs represented rich culture and history, appealing to patriotic feelings.

In 2007 the magazine “Ademi-Ai” was published to introduce national relics to ordinary people. Shortly it became one of the favourite publications. Leading the company Bakhargul Tolegenkyzy rendered sponsorship to such grand event as “Akyndar Aitysy” Worldwide Kazkah Association, show “Namys Orda” and “Anshi bolgym keledy” on Kazkahstan channel , competition “Astana - Tilep” and songs’ festival “Sagyndyrgan ander - ai”

“My nation is the most skilful  in the world”

The patron of national art Bakhargul Tolegenkyzy’s ethnic exhibition of relics “Zhuregimde Otanym” taking place in Kasteyev museum opened with congratulatory speech vice director of the museum Erkin Nurzakhan.  Art critic Zh. Mukhamed dedicated  to his collegue a congratulatory speech as well. Vice chairman of Worldwide Kazakh Association T Mamashev pointed on rare occasions of such exhibitions of ancient relics. Repatriate Bakhargul sets the high standards and in collaboration with association achieved many of them. She participates in exhibitions in our country and other cities of Europe and promotes ancient heritage of national masterpieces of kazakh nation. In coming March Bakhargul is going to do the exhibition in Cultural C enter of President of Kazkahstan in Astana. Famous Kazakh poet Shomishbay Sariyev expressed his congratulations  to Bakhargul Tolegenkyzy in poem. Well known writer director of “Sanat» publishing, Serik Abdrayim congratulated Bakhargul Tolegenkyzy, the real patron of Kazakh invaluable heritage. Academic Alkey Margulan in his three volume edition wrote:”My nation is the most skilful in the world. To gather and keep art as the apple of the eye is a sacred duty. Bakhargul’s will, her passionate aspiration to keep national treasures brings joy to everyone”. He wished the success in continuing this work.

Honoured Scientist Yakuda Amandykov marked social-spiritual meaning of the exhibition in national art area.

Jewellery takes the special place in kazakh culture. They are often mentioned in famous writers’ work of last century:  Abai, Akhmet Baitursynov. There are verses in poem of Magzhan Zhumabayev “Sholpy” «Сылдыр, сылдыр, сылдыр! Діңкемді құртты-ау құрғыр!» (describing the gentle sound of pendants) where the feeling s to beauty and desire to love are expressed.

Making the speech on grand opening of exhibition, the art critic Bakhargul Tolegenkyzy expressed her particular gratitude to sponsors. The introduction of national heritage collected during 15 years to attention of Almaty residents was her dream. She said that her goal is to hand over this heritage, collecting many years in the frame of the program “Cultural heritage” from generation to generation.

Folk - ethnographic band “Sazgen Sazy”, Mayra Iliyasova,and Kudaybergen Bekish performed on the opening of the exhibition. Visitors enjoyed the exposed ancient jewellery such as rings, bracelets, earrings and decorated ribbons, belts and other things. Art critic Bakhargul Tolegenkyzy told a story about every ancient relic.
