Art is inexhaustible heritage. Art can be variegated. The art of speech making, the art of dance, architecture, hunting, wood art, jewellery art and so on. Everything is a precious part of culture. Powers, beauty, content of masterpieces do not lose their value for ages. During era of globalization, when the technological achievements are on the first place, it is clear that national art has its own place.
The art of manufacturing jewellery from gold, silver, and other precious stones, unrepeatable masterpieces made of bronze and copper, leather and wood are amazing values which will be handed over as heritage.
Director of LLP “Bala - Bulak” Bakhargul Tolegenkyzy is not a new one in this business, she is the one who collecting samples of national art masterpieces, analyzing and introducing to nation.
-National relics, came from early ages, reveal the secrets of our history, - said general director Bakhargul Tolegenkyzy, - “That’s why, every piece is very valuable for us”.
Jewellery, home appliances from ancient ages or from XVII – XVIII centuries give us the diverse information. For instance, the existence of different cultures on the Kazakh land can be seen if you pay attention on diverse embellishment of jewellery of Kazakh women.
Every ornament has its own meaning. As a rule, patterns and ornaments are divided according to age of a person. The combination of one gem with another is the most difficult task. It could be done by real masters.
For example, I am very surprised by frequent use of agate. This is a mismatch. Kazakhs highly appreciated this gem. The Profit said “If someone wears the ring with agate, he will be blessed and happy ” . It is considered that this stone is good for health. Different amulets have been made of agate. The word “akyk” means protector. Then, pearls were widely used. Among precious metals, silver had been in favour.
Even now, silver is symbol of purity. Kazakhs thought that its white colour connected to conception of purity and kindness. Every woman was honoured if she wears silver rings and bracelets. It meant that all deeds could be clear up by silver.
The healers are familiar with the healing properties of silver.
LLP “Bal-bulak” studies the art masterpieces of Kazakhs, collecting and introducing them to people. Six years ago, when we thought about the name for enterprise, my mom said: “Bal means honey and “Bulak” is spring - the source of life, Give it the name “Bal-bulak ”. This meant that I could enjoy my work. We gladly supported the idea. Old people lived longer than us and know more. So our business, named as my mom wished, slowly moving forth.
Bakhargul has been in many places around the world and collected more than 500 kazakh national jewellery workpieces, and home appliances. LLP “Bal-Bulak” continuously produces symbols of Kazakhstan. They manufacture the copies of famous monuments of Kazakhstan, jewellery souvenirs and home appliances.
Widely spread the manufacturing of small copies of Independence monument, “Astana Baiteregi”, “Kozha – Akhmet Yassaui mausoleum” and others.
Majority of erected architectural cultural- historic masterpieces during 6 years became famous through souvenir selling not only among people in Republic but among foreign tourists.
Bakhargul and her husband sponsored many cultural events, taking place in RK. They organized charity activities in orphan asylums.
-“We never forget that should help to orphans,” – said Bakhargul.
“Charity is a duty of every citizen, who is capable to help, no matter in business or in usual life. Understanding that my work is useful is great happiness. In 2004 I was invited on the Second Kurultai of Kazakhs in Sweden. Then, talking to kazakhs from different countries and feeling the importance of my work, I was happy in particular. I organized the big exhibition of Kazakh jewellery. The gratitude of Kazakhs, living abroad, was special. That time creative exhibitions are favourite for art fans. If God wills, I would like to open museum and big house of art named “Ademi” to give the opportunity to our country’s guests to see the culture of Kazakhstan”.
In this way to my dream I work laboriously, we established connection to our and foreign artists- sculptors, companies, exporting souvenirs. Business grows every year. It is make me happy that everyone enters the house of art “Ademi” will be convinced in their beauty.
Bakhargul loves, appreciates our culture, spiritual – material values and gives them high respect. What can be more beautiful than serve to nation’s prosperity!
