Nurzhan Smanov is an honored sport master of boxing in Republic of Kazakhstan.

He was grant-holder of President Prize and also he is an honoured citizen of Shymkent city and Saryagash region of South-Kazakhstan.

Nurzhan Smanov became the champion of boxing of Soviet Union and also was master of sport of USSR.

Not once the flag was picked up and was sung National Anthem of Kazakhstan in honour of Smanov Nurzhan, on the international scene. Nurzhan Smanov is 6-multipled champion of Kazakhstan, 4-multipled champion of USSR, 2-multipled champion of Asia and games of Asia, champion of Europe, winner of silver and bronze medals the World championship. He was the manager and was the captain of National combined team of Kazakhstan during 5 years.

• In 1995 he was appropriated the title of «Honored master of sport of Republic of Kazakhstan».
• In 1988 he was appropriated the degree of master of International Class sport of USSR. 
• In 18 years he became the champion of Europe and recognized as the best boxer of Europe. 
• In 1987, 15 years old he became the Champion of USSR.

In his sport career for 15 years, he won 52 medals; among them: 35 golden, 9 silver, and 8 bronze medals.
