Prinbekov Marat Usenovich Mayor of Almaty Region

The second place may be given to Marat Prinbekov. Upon last year’s result the number of crimes in Almaly region significantly decreased. Total number of law-breakers was 2032. Especially  the number of crimes committed by the juvenile fell down by 19%. This is the best figure in Almaty.

Certainly, the main factor which has affected this result is organization of numerous sport events in the region. At the beginning of the year there was a competition among mass media representatives for the cup of the region’s Mayor. The head of the region organized a tournament on free-style wrestling at republic level. Among the teenagers various sport events were organized, a great work was done to accustom school students to sport. A lot of sport events were held by the administration of Almaly region in connection with the 2011 Winter Asian Games.
