In accordance with Decree of the head of the country organization of meetings and reporting sppeches of mayors of different levels to the general public continues. One of such meetings was held in Almaly region yesterday. This time the mayor of Almaly region Marat Prinbekov met with people at the Hall of meetings at KazATK. Akhmetjan Esimov also attended the meeting.
It’s worth to mention that the mayor of the city attended a reporting meeting of a region’s mayor for the first time. There had been no such cases. According to Ahmetjan Smagulovich he came to the meeting to see how the meeting of the head of the region with people was going, to assess the work and see the condition of the people.
- Throughout this week the mayors of the regions are organizing meetings with people. The objective is to execute the Decree of the President «On holding of reporting meetings of heads if local executing bodies with people». Total number of meetings to be held is 43. 42 of which will be held with mayors of regions, 1 meeting will be held at the Palace of Republic with participation of the Mayor of the city. At that meeting there will social and economic issues be discussed. Today we gathered in Almaly region to meet the people and discuss all issues, - said the mayor of the city Ahmetjan Esimov.
A range of important social and economic issues of regional and city levels were discussed at the meeting. In particular, the acute questions of qualitative education, medical service and employment, which concern the general public. The mayor of the region Marat Prinbekov, stating that social policy is actively carried out said the following:
- The social policy is being actively carried out in the region. Last year 221 families received social assistance in total of 21267770 tenge. 295 families were paid benefits totaling 5155307 tenge. 485 people were provided with a job. In health care system in the framework of the program named «100 schools, 100 hospitals» the construction of hospital of urgent medical service for 350 patients was completed in 2010. In education sector the total amount of assistance provided equaled to 67522000 tenge, - the mayor of the region pointed.
Also problems regarding gas provision, road conditions, street lightning, passenger transport, metro, «Asiada - 2011» were discussed. The mayor of the region, deputies of the mayor of the region and regional heads provided answers to all questions discussed.
