Announcer: And one more thing. One of the most valuable things in this world is care and attention. They are especially important to pensioners and elder people who need help. In the framework of the month of the «elder person» held in Almaty they were invited by school groups of the city, cafes and restaurants treated them with free dinners. In Almaly region of Almaty various companies supported their pensioners and veterans of the World War II and Heroes of Labour with moneyed assistance.
1200 pensioners of the region were apportioned over KZT 3.5 mln, besides they were given an opportunity to have a free diagnostic test of their health in clinics of the region. Today’s main task for the elder is a deserving celebration of 65th anniversary of Victory in the World War II.
Zeken Adilbekov, participant of the World War II, chairman of Veterans’ Council of Almaly region of Almaty city. – We are now preparing intensively for celebration of 65th anniversary of Victory in the World War II. We’ve got only 450 veterans left in Almaly region and about 3500 veterans of labour of the war years. Our task as I will present is to make a good celebration of 65th anniversary because by the next 70th anniversary it is probable that no one will be alive as the youngest participant of the war will be 85 years old next year.
