The largest event of Kazakhstan model calendar – KAZAKHSTAN BEAUTY CONTEST – this year differs noticeably from the previous year's not only by its breadth, but also by the line-up of participant. In the semi-final 50 girls (last year there were 36) - 14 regional winners of beauty contests and 36 Almatin participants – at the very beginning of the auditions (selections - Ed.) surprised the jury, in which line-up were included well-known stylists, photographers, hair stylists, make-up artists, - tall (up to 185 cm), with perfect shapes, intelligence (what, by the way, is important for future models). And already then it was pretty clear, how increased the prestigious of the contest and what a difficult choice the jury should make. As even in the hard precompetitive days – shoot for portfolio, repetitions, where is no time left for rest and food, it seems that someone won’t handle that, and “break”, - but the participants, among which were 14-15 years old girls, who have never participated in such contests before, continued to smile and work hard.This time the final show took place at the stage of the Palace of the Republic – a small hall of Schoolchildren’s Palace was not able to hold all the people who wanted to see the most beautiful and leggy girls of the country. Theatrical scenery, gorgeous light, extraordinary staging did their job - Kazakhstan Beauty Contest will remain in the memory of the audience for a long time, as one of the most brilliant and thrilling shows ever seen at this stage ...In the line-up of the authoritative international jury, even in the year of contest’s birth defined it to the very top level among the other similar contests, entered the representative of the largest world model agency “Elite” Stefan Pessimoro (France), the representative of the General contest sponsor – company “Procter & Gamble” with trade brand “Pantene Pro-V” – Andy Piterson, the General director of “Butya”company Bulat Abilov, organizator of the contest – the General director of Kazakhstan agency “San Bell” Alena Rivlina, the President of the producing Art-center Esenzhat Kosubaev and the national artist of Kazakhstan Gauhar Murzabekova, the representative of the largest russian agency “Red Stars” Oksana Merz, the editors of such magazines as “Top model” and “Cosmopolitan” Svetlana Petruhanova and Aglaia Karpenko. The final accord of the show was appearance of all the participants in amazing evening dresses haut-coutur from the Moscow fashion designer Irina Murashkina. And then the solemn moment came....

GRAND- PRIX – the title of “MISS KAZAKHSTAN”, participation in the intercontinental contest “Miss of the World” – DANA TOLESH (Almaty), 17 years, a schoolgirl of the high school (height – 172 cm, bust - 85 cm, waist - 61 cm, hips - 91.5 cm).)
II PLACE – a contract for participation in the largest international contest among professional models “Elite model look” – IRINA ALEKSEEVA (Almaty,) 18 years (182-88-57-88).
III PLACE – a year contract with the largest russian agency “Red stars” – MARIA NIKIFOROVA (Almaty), 17 years (178-89-59-89).

Twenty finalists have signed contracts in the largest modeling agency of Kazakhstan "San Belle." Contest Sponsors also selected their "Miss", in addition to memorable ribbons and gifts, who got a right to participate in advertising campaigns that selected their firms:
