In a small house near a railway, an old blind man lives with his son's family. His son works as a trackman, checking the railway. For the old man, his blindness is not a handicap. He helps the family in numerous ways and even checks the railway for his son. His senses and intuition prove superior even over modern track error measurement technology. Despite that, some people consider him a burden and criticize his son for taking him seriously Depicting the universal conflict between modern and traditional, new and old, technology and human senses, this melancholic morality filmed in Sepia proves that the blind can often see more than those blinded by the modern world, and that the elderly should not be underestimated.
