Filmograafia/Filmography: Notes by trackman (2006), Akkyz (2011)
The film pictures the ancient Kazakh mythological representation of the World’s creation. There’s a legend from that mythology, telling that God - before creating anything alive - created Sacred White Swan. And that life on Earth comes from the egg of that Sacred Bird.
Film’s story happens in the current time. Despite the fact that 9-year old girl named Aruzhan - who lives on the sea’s coast - doesn’t know a thing about the ancient legend she saves the lives of little birds, intuitively repeating what Sacred White Bird did.
* Akkyz means White Girl in Kazakh.
