Review of the scientific project “The similarities and differences of case endings in the Kazakh and Japanese languages” of the 11th "Ә" class pupil of the Republican boarding school of the in-depth study of the Kazakh language and literature after Abay Olzhas Bekenuly Kuanbay.
Recently there are opinions that exclude the value of the comparative linguistics. However the study of languages in terms of the comparative method makes a significant contribution to the development of a language. In this regard the research work of Olzhas Kuanbay is very important.
It should also be noted that Olzhas is considering the subject not investigated earlier. He separately reviews the works on the case endings of the Kazakh and Japanese languages. Based on these studies he compares the above categories, identifies similarities and differences. It is noticeable that when writing his research paper the author used a variety of materials. In connection with the lack of works on the case endings in the Kazakh language, the student largely based on the works that were written in Russian. The works in Japanese were not considered so well. If we consider that the author of the work is still a student and also has not yet mastered the Japanese language to perfection, this deficiency is not so important.
The scientific work written by a school pupil is rather competent. It is noticeable that the student conscientiously and meticulously worked on the job. Despite the lack of materials in the Kazakh language of case endings in the Japanese language, as well as despite the subject was not studied earlier Olzhas makes bold conclusions of case similarities and differences in the two languages.
However the project encountered some stylistic, typographical and technical mistakes. But they do not touches the of the quality research project.
As a schoolboy Olzhas makes attempts to deeply research this new and complex topic. Given this we can hope for his future.
