On July 3, 2012 a meeting between Mr. Valery Bondur, Director of the federal state budget research institution "Scientific Research Institute of Aerospace Monitoring" Aerocosmos "of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Russian Academy of Sciences ("Aerocosmos” Research Institute), and Mr. Kazybek Shaikh, Director General of «SHAIKH» Creative Solutions Agency. During the meeting between "Aerocosmos" and «SHAIKH» Creative Solutions Agency an agreement was signed on the transfer to «SHAIKH» Creative Solutions Agency exclusive rights to sell goods and services of "Aerocosmos" in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
About "Aerocosmos"
The main objectives:
- Conduct fundamental and applied research in earth sciences with aerospace methods and technologies;
- Implement programs and projects related to environmental monitoring, and control of emergency situations, geodesy, cartography, creation of geographic information systems and others;
- Development of methods, technologies, and remote sensing and processing of aerospace information;
- Integration of science and education to conduct research on a new level, creating new methods of training of specialists and highly qualified scientific personnel.
At the " Aerospace Monitoring Research Institute "Aerocosmos" famous scientists and highly qualified specialists work under the guidance of Academician Valery Bondur in the following areas: remote sensing, aerospace information processing, mathematical modeling, oceanology, atmospheric physics, geology, ecology, research and natural resources management, geodesy, cartography, geoinformatics, etc.
The basis of the team at "Aerocosmos" consists of the representatives of the leading scientific school of Academician V.G.BONDUR.
The main activities of "Aerocosmos":
- Addressing a wide range of problems in earth sciences to generate new knowledge about various processes and phenomena occurring in the atmosphere, hydrosphere and geological environment, on the Earth's surface and near-Earth space with aerospace methods and technologies;
- Development of a system-wide principles for creating complex aerospace systems and implementation of complex multi-level monitoring of the environment and sources of its anthropogenic influences, dangerous natural and man-made processes, objects of the technosphere, and others;
- Development of the physical basis for remote sensing;
- Design of new and development of existing methods, technologies and tools for aerospace monitoring;
- Development of methods, software and hardware to handle large flows of aerospace information;
- Creation and update of databases on various characteristics of the environment;
- Development of modeling methods and creation of simulation modeling of various processes and phenomena occurring in the ocean, atmosphere, on land and in the geological environment, as well as models of the radiation fields at the entrance of aerospace remote-sensing equipment;
- Development of methods for prediction of environmental change and assessment of the consequences of emergencies;
- Development of evidence-based recommendations for management decisions on environmental protection, environmental management, prevention and emergency response;
- Diversification of aerospace methods and techniques for solving various problems in energy, medicine, security, etc.;
- Development, testing and introduction of new methods and forms of training based on contemporary aerospace technologies for training of specialists and highly qualified scientific personnel.
