One of the speakers of the Forum was Mr.Kazybek Shaikh, the chairman of “Fund of Peace of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. During his speech Kazybek Shaikh presented the idea of creation of the New Great Silk Way.

 

Kazybek Shaikh proposed to expand the concept and geography of the Great Silk Way by including not only Eurasian nations, but also such countries as the USA, Australia, Canada, as the ancient concept of the silk way had been formed before the geographic discoevries of America, Australia and other countries. Moreover, these nations are ones of leading economies of the modern world.

The idea of creation of the New Great Silk Way found strong support by the Forum participants and provided the basis for «Chongqing Protocol ».

The Forum was represented by over a hundred participants from well-known global foundation in different countries and regions around the world.

The Forum formed the basis for building an international platform for promotion of cooperation and harmony in the world through discussions, project talks and cooperation negotiations.
