In 1998 Petrakova Anna graduated from Almaty Art School #1. In 2002 she graduated from the art-graphical faculty in Kazakh National Polytechnic University named after Abay with honors, by specialty Teacher of Art and Drawing.  In June 2004 she graduated from MA course of Kazakh National Polytechnic University named after Abay by specialty: specialist to teach theory and practice for easel painting.  In 2006-2007 she was a teacher in her home university. She taught the principles of handling in Russian and English languages.

Petrakova Anna exhibited her paintings to the public 16 times, and besides she took part in more than 30 group exhibitions.

Anna’s works are in private collections of Greece, Malaysia, Switzerland, England, Japan, Germany, France, China, the USA, the Ukraine and Russia. 

She takes a great interest in literature, painting, and hiking.

Her private plans are contributions to development and propaganda of culture and art in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Hobbies, work and entertainment is connected with enhancement of her mastery and professional skills.

• April 25 – May 10, 2009 participation in the group exhibition “Young Impulse” under the aegis of “The First Fund of the President” The President Culture Center. 
• September 22 – October 04, 2009 the personal exhibition of painting “From heart to heart. Astana-Almaty”.  Open Society “Union of Artists” of Astana city. 
• October 30 – November 20, 2009 participation in the exhibition of young artists “Fresh Air”, Art Center “Kulanshi”, Peace and Concord Palace of Astana city. 
• March 27 – April 10, 2010 participation in the group exhibition “National Idea in Painting” under the aegis of “The First Fund of the President” the President Culture Center. 
• May 19 – May 25, 2010 participation in the exhibition “Kazakhstan Art Week”, Directorate of Art Exhibitions and Auctions. 
• October 22 – November 11, 2010 the personal exhibition of painting “Far and Near”, gallery “Vernisage”. 
• May 5 – May 19, 2011 participation in the 4th republican exhibition of the creative association “Sharshy” in the Central Exhibition Hall of Almaty city, Directorate of Art Exhibitions and Auctions.
